KSUAE students and staff took part in the Immortal Regiment march

The "Immortal Regiment" is more than just an event; it is a living memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, cherished by descendants through the years. On May 9, 2026, Kazan once again joined the nationwide march in honor of the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory.
Students, faculty, and staff of Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering traditionally took active part in the event. This year, more than 500 university representatives marched in formation through the city's central streets, including KSUAE Rector Rashit Nizamov.

Each participant held a living history: portraits of their grandfathers, great-grandfathers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers, as well as photographs of veterans—KISI-KSUACE employees—who, during the harsh war years, contributed to the Victory, giving us a peaceful sky above our heads. This event became a symbol of remembrance and gratitude, uniting people of different generations. As they marched through the streets of Kazan, the Immortal Regiment participants proudly carried portraits of their heroes, keeping in their hearts the memories of those who performed heroic deeds for our freedom. It was a touching and meaningful moment, demonstrating that the memory of the Great Victory lives on within each of us.
