Students of KSUAE participate in a workshop on the development of the square for the 60th anniversary of student teams of the Republic of Tatarstan

On February 13, 2023, a workshop on the development of the concept of the square of the 60th anniversary of the student teams of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan started at the cultural center "Smena".

The purpose of the workshop is to define the concept and develop a draft design of the park. The event is attended by 20 senior students of KSUAE, as well as students of the Kazan Art College named after N.I. Feshin. The participants formed 5 teams that will implement their original ideas for several days. The organizer of the event is the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Foundation "Institute for Urban Development of the Republic of Tatarstan" and the State Budgetary Institution "Republican Center of Student Labor Teams". Within the framework of the event, an introductory session was held, at which the main vectors of work were determined in accordance with the purpose of creating the park. During the workshop, an expert group works with the participants, which will hold introductory lectures and master classes, and will also be involved in the daily refinement of intermediate results.

The place for the square was chosen near the railway station complex of the Kazan station. This place is of great importance for the movement of student teans in the Republic of Tatarstan. In July 1963, the first student construction teams consisting of 200 students left the Kazan-1 station for virgin lands in Kazakhstan. In addition, at the present time, the station complex does not lose its relevance for the student movement.

Initially, the project workshop was designed for three days, however, taking into account the difficult task set for the guys, the design period was extended by the organizers for one day. The results of the project workshop will be presented on Thursday, 16 February.
