Students of KSUAE took part in the quiz game "Friendship of Peoples"

On October 12, 2022, representatives of the Regional Public Organization "Academy of Creative Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan" with the support of the Office of the Anti-Terrorist Commission in the Republic of Tatarstan held an event on interethnic and intercultural interaction with students of KSUAE - the quiz game "Friendship of Peoples". During the game, the participants, divided into teams, were able to get to know the peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan, their culture, features and traditions.

KSUAE and "Gazpromneft-Bitumen materials" agreed on cooperation

Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering (KGASU) and Gazpromneft-Bitumen Materials (St. Petersburg) have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of professional training of road construction industry specialists. The document was signed by the Rector of KSUAE R.K. Nizamov and Director General of Gazpromneft-BM D.V. Orlov at the international specialized exhibition "Road 2022" in Kazan.

The agreement provides for assistance in the training and professional development of students, the exchange of experience between students, university teachers and Gazpromneft-BM experts, practical and optional classes, the possibility of undergoing industrial and undergraduate practice in the company.

Dmitry Orlov, General Director of Gazpromneft-Bitumen Materials: “The road industry is one of the drivers of the country's economy. In many ways, its development depends on the availability of qualified specialists, their knowledge and competencies. We are expanding cooperation with leading road construction universities. Partnership with KSUAE will allow us to help improve the quality of engineering education. We will provide students with the opportunity to interact with our experts, learn from their experience and skills. I hope that cooperation will show high efficiency both for us and the university, and for the entire industry as a whole.”

Rashit Nizamov, Rector of KSUAE: “Working with technology companies is extremely important for our university. Targeted and integrated into the main educational process, professional training of students in specialized areas will help improve the overall level of qualifications of future specialists. Thus, together with Gazprom Neft - Bitumen Materials, we will solve the problem of meeting the demand of the Russian economy for competent, practice-oriented personnel.”

KSUAE follows the trend of practice-oriented education on the basis of scientific and educational centers created at the university - the best in Russia in their areas and corresponding to the international level. The agreement with Gazpromneft - Bitumen Materials is part of this movement, where education and science are combined to solve production problems.

Gazprom Neft Bituminous Materials is a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft for the sale of bituminous materials and cokes. It was founded in 2014, but the bitumen direction in the company has been developing since 2008. Today the company occupies a leading position in the bitumen market of Russia. All the company's products, which include road, construction and roofing bitumen, polymer-bitumen binders (PBV), polymer-modified bitumen (PMB G-Way Styrelf), bitumen emulsions and bituminous mastics, comply with current Russian and international quality standards.

Participants of the All-Russian meeting "Development of the personnel potential of the road sector" visited KSUAE

On October 13, 2022, the All-Russian meeting "Development of the human resources potential of the road sector" was held at the Kazan EXPO IEC as part of the International Specialized Exhibition-Forum "Road 2022". The meeting discussed the current issues of road education and the principles of its development in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions.

The meeting was attended by teachers, graduate students and students of the Institute of Transport Structures of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, representatives of the Moscow and Siberian State Automobile and Road Universities, the Russian University of Transport, as well as other industry organizations and educational institutions that train specialists for the road construction industries.

Vice-Rector for Research E.A. Vdovin made the report “Research and Educational Centers as a Basis for Practice-Oriented Road Education in KSUAE”.

On the same day, the participants of the All-Russian meeting "Development of the human resources potential of the road sector" visited our University.

The guests noted the high level of equipment of the research and educational centers of KSUAE, the relevance and demand for scientific and innovative developments carried out by the university staff on the basis of the centers, the existing wide opportunities for organizing the educational process, performing scientific research on the university campus being created with international standard infrastructure.

TIM as a tool to reduce injuries in construction - in the learning process of KSUAE

On October 7, 2022, Vladimir Sharmanov, Process Engineer of the Information Model Control Department of the Directorate for Development and Innovation of Etalon Group, made a presentation at the Panel session on Digital Competences in Construction during the II International Construction Championship. His report aroused great interest among teachers of KSUAE.

On October 10, Vladimir Sharmanov visited the University to discuss cooperation in the field of introducing information modeling technologies (TIM) into the educational process of the department of building production technologies.

The issues of labor protection in construction and the use of information models of construction objects for this were discussed. The meeting participants agreed on the participation of V. Sharmanov in the educational process.

V. Sharmanov proposed to use the competencies of KSUAE specialists in designing objects of the Etalon group.

Etalon Group specializes in the development of residential real estate in Moscow and St. Petersburg, design, construction, service and operation.
