Rector's congratulations with Happy Day of Russian Science!

Dear teachers, staff, graduate students, students,

On behalf of the university administration, please accept our congratulations on the Day of Russian Science!

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin dated April 25, 2022 No. 231, 2022-2031 are declared in Russia as the Decade of Science and Technology.

The powerful scientific and educational potential of KSUAE, based on the scientific schools of our university, close cooperation with profile ministries and business allow us to create popular innovative technologies and scientific and technical developments for practical implementation in the real economy.

In accordance with the adopted concept of development, scientific and educational centers, platforms and spaces of international level are being created at KSUAE, the best in their field in terms of equipment in the Russian Federation, in which practice-oriented engineering education is implemented at all stages of training.

On the basis of scientific schools, the created infrastructure of scientific and educational centers, scientists of KSUAE, within the framework of instructions from state authorities, economic agreements and state contracts, in the interests of business, carry out research projects relevant for the Republic of Tatarstan, the results of which are being introduced into real construction industry today.

In 2022, 5 scientific conferences were held at KSUAE, incl. with publications in high-ranking scientific and technical journals; received 62 patents for inventions, 20 patents for utility models, 57 applications for patents were submitted, teachers and graduate students of KSUAE presented 3 doctoral and 7 candidate dissertations.

In 2023, the University staff faces new big challenges that require the joint efforts of our scientific schools to achieve significant results in scientific and innovative activities!

KSUAE, Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan and Satbayev University (Kazakhstan) agreed on cooperation

On February 6, 2023, at the University academic and research Center "Technology", at the initiative of the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan, a trilateral meeting was held dedicated to multidisciplinary cooperation within the Technology Platform of the Eurasian Economic Commission between KSUAE, the Institute of Architecture and Construction T.K. Basenov (Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty) and the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan (Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan) with the involvement of the industrial company STEINBLOCK LLC (Nab. Chelny), engaged in the production of technological equipment for construction industry enterprises (plants of aerated concrete, fiber-reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete products).

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the department "Construction and building materials" of the Kazakh National Technical University, Doctor of Technical Sciences D.A. Akhmetov made a presentation of a ready-mixed self-compacting concrete (SCC) plant project, developed entirely on Kazakh raw materials.

The meeting participants discussed the development of joint degree programme on Master level, Technology of construction materials and structures (TSMIK) between KSUAE and Satbayev University, which is to be developed on the basis of two curricula of both departments. The first experience of such cooperation in the preparation of bachelors at the KSUAE Department of TSMIK already exists - with the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Republic of Uzbekistan). The parties - KSUAE and Satbayer University - agreed to start work on the implementation of this proposal.

The president of the Industrial Cluster S.V. Mayorov proposed to conclude an agreement between the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan and KSUAE (represented by the Department of TSMIK) in order to implement scientific developments in the production of building materials of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the framework of cooperation with the Institute of Architecture and Construction T.K. Basenov, representatives of the partner university were shown the academic and research centers of KSUAE, demonstrated the material and technical, laboratory base, innovative developments of the team of university scientists.

International students of the Russian language course visited KSUAE during the Welcome Day

On January 29, 2023 KSUAE hosted a Welcome Day for all future applicants wishig to apply for the programmes of our University.

International students of the Russian language course of KSUAE also took part in this event in order to get acquainted with the University and make a decision what academic programmes of the KSUAE to enter after completing the preparatory course.

For the international students the tour was organized to 11 academic and research Centers of the University: "BFFT.space", the Center for Engineering Systems in Construction "Systems", "Strength", "Technology", "Roads", "Urban Planning", "Digital", "Heritage", "Architectural Physics", "Base", "Development", in which they got acquainted with laboratory equipment and technology, with innovative developments in architecture, construction, road transport, where perspective foreign  students of our University were told about the areas of training at the Institutes of KSUAE and were answered their questions. A particularly keen interest of students was caused by visiting the center "Technology" where the Head of the department "Technology of building materials, products and structures" prof. Vadim Khozin enthusiastically and in detail spoke about the properties of building materials, technologies for testing them on equipment.

After the tour around the University Centers and facilities, internatonal students took part in the official part of the Welcome Day in the Aula Magna of KSUAE,where the Rector of KSUAE Prof. Rashit Nizamov welcomed all guests, as well as the secretary of the admission committee Airat Khuzin made a presentation about Admission Rules to KSUAE in 2023.

At the end of the day international students from Algeria, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Turkey, Iraq, Guinea, Cameroon, Syria, Egypt shared their enthusiastic impressions of the informative tour around the University, of the concert organized by KSUAE students during the Open Day, and also became interested in KSUAE educational training programs, clarifying the details of admission of foreign applicants to the University. To sum up the impression of foreign students from the event can be expressed in a general phrase: “Thank you very much for this amazing and informative day!”

Rector of KSUAE Rashit Nizamov to future applicants: “Make the right choice so as not to regret later all your life!”

On January 29, 2023 the Open Welcome Day brought together more than 500 guests. The University was visited by students of senior and final grades of schools, their parents, close relatives who wish to get to know the university, its scientific and educational sites, learn more about the areas of training, admission rules at the university and, of course, ask questions of interest. It is understandable, very little time is left for graduates to determine the most important choice in life: who to become and where to go to study?

The guests came from Kazan, cities and regions of Tatarstan, neighboring republics and even remote corners of Russia. The open day was also attended by more than 40 foreign citizens studying the Russian language at the preparatory courses of KSUAE. The organizers prepared a rich program for the guests with a tour of scientific and educational centers, acquaintance with the areas of training, the student program and the official part in the assembly hall.

For the participants of the meeting, tours were organized around the university campus, to scientific and educational centers and creative sites: the architectural and educational space "BFFT.space", the Center for Engineering Systems in Construction "Systems", "Strength", "Technology", "Roads", "Urban Planning", "Digital", "Heritage", "Architectural Physics", "Base", "Development". Directors of institutes, heads of centers, heads of departments introduced the guests to the equipment of the centers, laboratory equipment and technology, and also spoke about innovative developments in architecture, construction, road transport, areas of training at the institutes of KSUAE, answered questions.

The official part of the Open Day was held in the assembly hall of KSUAE. The guests were greeted and told about the university by the Rector, doctor of technical sciences, professor R.K. Nizamov. The Rector noted the importance of choosing a university and a profession in a person’s life: “Make the right choice so as not to regret later all your life!” The Rector drew the attention of future applicants and their parents to the key points in choosing a university and direction of study: this is a personal desire, and abilities for a certain type of activity, this is the demand for a profession, this is an understanding of what kind of university it is, whether it has a history , experience in training specialists in a particular area, whether scientific and educational schools have been formed, in what classrooms, laboratories will teach you, finally, how cool, interesting, incendiary your life will be in the next 4-6 years.

The Rector wished good luck in preparing for the exams and, of course, successful admission to KSUAE.

Responsible Secretary of the Admissions Committee A.F. Khuzin told the guests about the Rules for Admission to KSUAE in 2023, introduced the innovations in the admission campaign, and also answered numerous questions from the audience.
