Over the past 25 years, it has been full of events: commemorative anniversary meetings with the University veterans and alumni; poetry evenings, philosophical debates, chamber concerts, book presentations and exhibitions, excursions, thematic events and seminars on current architectural and construction issues.
The opening of the Museum was preceded by a long and dedicated effort to assemble collection of documents, historical materials and items of the pre-war and post-war periods. The idea of our Museum was born in 1969, during the 50th anniversary of the Kazan Higher School of Civil Engineering.
The opening ceremony of our University Museum took place on September 27, 1996, during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the University.
